GREENING THROUGH TECHNOLOGY In 2011, Carroll Hospital Center reduced its natural gas, energy, and water consumption through sustainability programs that were tracked using state-of-the-art software. CHC is the first facility in Maryland to use such a tool! Using this program, the hospital is calculating its carbon footprint reduction and the money saved.
