Hospital Partners

Maryland's hospitals serve as community anchors and lead the communities in which they exist to increased environmental health, wellness, and stability through the implementation of innovative and meaningful programs. Over three-quarters of the acute care hospitals in Maryland have established Green Teams, many of which are active participants in MD H2E programs, such as the Maryland Healthcare Sustainability Leadership Council and the Chesapeake Food Leadership Council. Many of these hospitals have won local, state and national awards for their accomplishments in sustainability.
